With e-business my risks have been loss of top placement in search engines. The domain name and SSL certificates come up for renewal depending on the plan purchased. It is mandatory to keep up with these renewals to continue to operated the online store and offer guests a secure site.

Websites require continuous updating and promotions to increase traffic to your site. You get what you give when running an e-business.

Sales tax has changed over the years, requiring companies to collect sales tax for online sales. The percentage is determined by the rate of the county. Food products do not require sales tax.
