Experience with e-business:

I would like to share my experience with e-business as I set up my website for Krista’s Kitchen (www.jerksauce.com) with Fontana Freelance years ago. Together we developed a professional website with an online store for my products, listings of cooking classes, videos, and menus available for my in home and private Chefs tables.
My first disappointment was the unavailability of kristaskitchen.com.  I chose to use my most unique product, jerk sauce, which became the highlight of my website; www.jerksauce.com.I also purchased kristascaribbeankitchen.com, and www.jerkalicious.com.  I chose a credit card company with the lowest possible % fees charged per transaction and a detailed list of all in contracts.
This website was utilizing e-commerce with its many weekly orders from around the world. We were the top hit when jerk sauce was googled. After years of success the business was almost lost with the divorce and loss of the restaurant.
New look, labels, and products were developed. The website, facebook, instagram accounts were interactive with contests and giveaways. With the choice to go back to school full time and work full time the business became back burner for three years. My last semester this spring will give me an opportunity to work on Krista’s Kitchen and grow the online presence, better ratings, sales, with google and the many other search engines.
